The "Vacation Head" Syndrome

All vacations must come to an end, as ours recently did. “Vacation head” is a rather difficult state of mind to rid oneself of, but I believe that we have been able to extract most of our thoughts and begrudgingly make our way back into reality. Somewhat. That is, as far as science fiction writers’ version of reality goes.

As science fiction writers, we have robot companions to build, conundrums to create, and planets to destroy. We can’t be lollygagging around on sandy beaches and floating along the ocean waves all day long! Although, they do have a way about them, you know. Currently, and honestly, we are back at work finishing up our third science fiction novel, Computer Love Inc. III: Blood Brothers, and we are both enjoying it so much. We’ll keep you all posted on our progress, and be sure to look for updates, some interesting quotes, and future book giveaways on our Computer Love Inc. Facebook page.

Now, getting back to that “vacation head” we were talking about earlier. Here is a picture of us authors together at Racing’s North Turn getting ready to enjoy some live music by Mark D Moore and dining with the rest of our family. For those of you who haven’t had the pleasure to visit Ponce Inlet, The North Turn is a nostalgic racing fan hub that was the original north turn of the Daytona 500 racetrack, back when the cars raced on half beach and half on route A1A. The setting was beautiful, the music was great, and the meals and service were perfect…..What was that you said, Jess? Shouldn’t we be working on the book? LOL!
